Ian was an extremely knowledgeable and fun tour guide!
I learned so many facts about the location and he even pointed out tons of local wildlife like bighorn sheep, a wild tarantula, and schools of fish!
I can’t recommend this tour enough whether you’re a Vegas local or just visiting and looking for some beautiful outdoor activities.
Fantastic experience! We enjoyed the river at the best time possible with beautiful light and almost entirely to ourselves. We strongly recommend Kayak Lake Mead and will most definitely do another trip with them next time we're in the area.
We had a wonderful morning on the river with Ian. Kayak lake mead offers smaller groups and earlier times. It was amazing to be on the river with no one else. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves the outdoors!
You'll visit historical sites that have to do with the early days of the canyon, the surveying of the river, and the building of Hoover Dam.

As long as your group is the only one on the tour and there are no other conflicts with scheduling we are happy to work with you regarding start and duration.
On a public tour there will only ever be 6 paddlers, not including the guide. We do this to maintain a small intimate environment that we find allows everyone a more meaningful experience!
Visit any of our tour pages, choose how many paddlers will be going, select a date on the calendar then pick a start time from the drop down menu.
If you need to cancel your trip more than 48 hours before departure, we can refund you in full or reschedule for another time. If you need to cancel within less than 48 hours to departure we can not offer a refund, but we can work to find you a better date for your trip. In case we have to cancel a tour departure due to safety or weather concerns, we will reimburse you fully, including the park entrance fee, provided that you submit us a receipt.
